Some of you may have wanted to know a few things about "PEE". Most of you probably don't. In any case we present a few Interesting Historical and Medical Facts about "PEE". Just don't forget to Order a T-Shirt!

Who Invented the Urinal?

For Centuries, humans just went anywhere. There weren't that many people around to see you go! Later, Man learned to go behind a rock or tree until he learned how to dig a hole for the elimination of Both kinds of human waste. Holes were important for many more centuries until the rise of the Roman Empire and their advances in Plumbing. The First Urinal was said to have been invented by an obscure Roman named Ureacles.

It is rumored that Ureacles was spotted one day taking a PEE in one of the recently invented Aqueducts, was immediately brought before Augustus Caesar, and met with an unknown and untimely end. There are indications that he may have been involved in some way with Roman Physicians' first attempts at performing a Sex Change Operation!

Is there anything Useful you can do with PEE?

Actually NO! Some people derive some strange pleasure by using PEE in their Sexual Relationships, this is called a FETISH, and will not be discussed here as it is Totally Icky and we just don't want to go there!

There are some Very Strange people who insist that Drinking your own PEE has various Health Benefits. We think this practice shows it does not benefit Mental Health and we wouldn't even want to talk to these people, much less shake hands with them! The ONLY Good use we can think of for PEE, is REVENGE. This can come in many shapes and forms, our language is full of references and phrases such as "I'm going to PEE on your Grave!", "Who PEED in the Pool?","Who PEED in your Corn Flakes?", and of course the simple but effective insult, "PISS on YOU!"

Where does PEE come from?

The proper term for PEE is Urine. It is generated by your Urinary System of course, your Kidneys, Ureters, Bladder and Urethra. Blood containing waste products enters the Kidneys through the Renal Artery. The Kidneys purify the blood by filtering out waste products. Many substances which are not absorbed by the body, Urea, Uric Acid, Ammonia and a whole bunch of other things most of us never heard of, and don't care to, together with water form Urine. From the Kidneys, urine passes through thick-walled tubes called Ureters into the Bladder, a muscular sac that temporarily stores the Urine and contracts to expel it. Urine released from the Bladder flows into the Urethra, the canal carrying it to the outside of the body.

Why do I have to PEE?

Well of course, when the Bladder fills up, you usually feel some discomfort until you find the proper facilities to dispose of your PEE. You CAN'T hold it forever, sooner or later, voluntarily or involuntarily, you WILL PEE! That's the basis of "PEE-NUT'S" quote, "When you Gotta Go, You Gotta Go!". Most of us have some control over this process, though there are some who don't, young children, those under heavy medication or intoxicated and the elderly. Does involuntary urination strike everyone? DEPENDS!

Why is it Yellow?

Normal Urine is Amber in color and has a faint but distinctive odor, at least that's what the medical text I'm copying says, it seems to have more than a faint odor to me! Occasionally, Urine contains abnormal substances, such as sugar, protein or bacteria. Obviously, any color other than Yellow indicates some sort of problem that indicates Medical attention should be sought. Generally, the less Water you drink, the Darker the color, drink more water and it gets Clearer, if you drink a LOT of Beer on St. Patricks day, it can even be Green! It was this observation that led to the modern day practice of Testing your PEE for Illegal Substances.
